Inland Revenue :-
A government department that collects and manages the collection of income tax, corporations tax, NI, capital gains, etc. All entities including persons and corporations will have been contacted by the inland revenue when they are legally allowed to generate income in the UK.

Tax Definition:-

In relation to excise goods this term includes the owner, importer, exporter, shipper, or other person owning or being beneficially interested in the goods.

Intranet
:-

A system within an organisation where communication and information can be shared. A Little like the internet but only within an organisation.


Disciplinary procedure
:-

A disciplinary procedure for a company detailing differing levels of disciplinary action.

CAFCASS
:-

The Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service. CAFCASS looks after the interests of children involved in legal proceedings in the family courts in England and Wales and works with children and their families to advise the courts on children's best interests in family cases, be that in divorce and separation, adoption, or child care and supervision proceedings.

Cyberliabilities
:-

Cyberliabilities is an emerging term that describes liability issues, normally relating to the Internet and email use (and abuse). The term refers less to the actual offence (which is little different from standard liability) than to the means by which the offence manifests itself.

Estate
:-

Used to describe the total value of a deceased person's assets. This is the total sum of possessions, property and money at the time of your death less any debts which are outstanding.


Tax Form - P9
:-

This tax document is issued to an employer about an employee tax code for the next tax year.


N215 Civil Court form
:-

This legal document is for a certificate of service.


Customs Duty
:-

Tax Definition:-

A tax charged on goods imported into the European Union (EU). It is based on the value of the imported goods (see - Ad Valorem duty) and the description of the goods. Remember that imported goods may be liable to other charges, such as Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD) or Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) charges. They may also be liable to Excise Duty and VAT.

Worm
:-

A worms is similar to a virus but has one main difference. For a worm to run on your computer it only needs to be able to connect to it across the Internet or a network. This is different to a virus which needs you to perform an action such as click a button or open an email.
