What is BIOS

This is the basic input/output system and is found on every computer. When you switch your computer on, the BIOS tells the computer where to find everything it needs, such as the operating system.

Once your computer is up and running the BIOS runs in the background helping the operating system talk to devices, such as your monitor and keyboard.
