What is Bandwidth

This is the speed at which data can be sent over a connection between computers or devices. It is normally measured in kilobits per second (Kbps). This means that a dial-up connection of 56Kbps will be able to send 56,000 bits of data a second. Broadband tends to start at 256Kbps, and the higher the number, the faster the connection.
