What is Base58

Base58 is one in a group of encoding methods to change binary to text and used to represent large integers in alphanumeric text format. Innovated by Satoshi Nakamoto for use with Bitcoin to encode Bitcoin addresses and now used with other cryptocurrencies. See Base58 Encode/Decoder.
