What is Dollar voting

Dollar voting is where customers determining the prices and what is produced by what they are prepared to spend their money on in a free market economy. The customer is king and controls demand. Some theorise that this is not the case and other factors like marketing is used to persuade and tells the consumer what they want and the price to pay.
