What is Domain name

A domain name is a web address for space on the world wide net. A domain name address normally related to a subject, business, trademark or any identify word or words. All domain names have to register and can also be registered in different countries by an accredited registrar. e.g. fred.sg signifies that the web address is in Singapore. fred.fr would be in France. These domain names can be accesses by anyone in the world if their owner does not impose restrictions.
