What is NDD

An abbreviation for "National Direct Dialing". This is the code you dial when calling a telephone number within a country. Also called trunk prefix. The NDD is dropped when calling from abroad. It is the countrys internal dialing code and should be removed when calling from another country. See Country Dialing Codes .
