What is Unissued stock

Are shares that have not yet been issued. A company’s authorised shares is the number of shares it is allowed to issue and the issued shares are what has issued. E.g., a company had 1,000,000 authorised share and 200,000 issued shares. The unissued stock is 800,000 shares.
