Abandon

In property this is to permanently give up, surrender, leave, desert or relinquish all interest or ownership. The landlord now has a un-let property an is deemed not to be coming back. The landlord must store anything left my the tenant and has to give them notice before they can sell their possessions.

A spouse, family or children are abandon if they have had no contact or support for a year or more.
